The Persuasion Currency

If there's one thing that determines your success in persuasion, it's your ability to generate and maintain focus.
People can't be persuaded by something they're not paying attention to. Your ability to capture attention initially (through confidence and authority) and then keep it (through language ability) will dictate your level of success.
One of the most powerful tools for maintaining focus is storytelling. Stories captivate because they tap into our innate human desire for wisdom and follow compelling structures we're wired to pay attention to. They're not just entertainment, they're attention magnets.
Strategic pauses can also dramatically increase focus on key points. When you pause before an important message, you create a spike of attention that makes your next words sink in deeper.
In today's distracted world, it’s about who can consistently generate and maintain focus.
It's not just what you say, it's whether people are actually paying attention when you say it.
The Self-Managing Company

If you're serious about creating freedom in your business, you need to create a Self-Managing Company — one that runs without you being involved in day-to-day operations.
Most entrepreneurs are stuck as bottlenecks in their own businesses. They're either doing everything themselves (the "rugged individual") or micromanaging their team. Either way, they're stunting both their own growth and their company's potential.
There are four levels of entrepreneurial evolution:
The Rugged Individual (does everything)
The Leader Applying "Who Not How" (focuses on their 20%)
The Self-Managing Company (replaced by better-fit leaders)
Self-Multiplying Unique Ability Teamwork (everyone operating in their strengths)
Moving through these levels means shifting from working IN your business to working ON yourself and ON your business. The goal is to free yourself up to innovate, explore new opportunities, and focus on what you do best.
I think it was Dan Sullivan who said, “Tightly scheduled entrepreneurs cannot transform themselves."
When you're caught in the daily grind, you can't see the forest for the trees. You need that space to think bigger and transform your approach.
Let the Property Dictate Your Strategy

Investors get too stuck on how they label themselves.
"I'm a fix and flipper" or "I only do rentals." This mindset is costing you deals left and right.
Versatility wins in this business. Instead of forcing every property into your preferred strategy, try flipping the script — let the property tell you what it wants to be.
That slightly beat-up house in a transitional neighborhood might make a terrible flip but an excellent rental. That gorgeous property with thin margins for flipping might be perfect for a novation strategy where you list it for a fee.
By being dynamic and open to multiple exit strategies, you not only close more deals but also recoup your marketing spend faster. Even a smaller $5,000 wholesale fee is valuable if it puts marketing dollars back in your pocket that you can reinvest.
Most properties can be sold to some investor. The key is making sure you're the one profiting from that match-making, not watching potential deals walk out the door.
